IE X86 32bit Default Freezes Some Links
I need to be able to have the other 32bit browsers on the system. White, CPA San Marcos, TX net Microsoft Windows MVP (Running Windows Live Mail 2009 in Win7 Ultimate x64 7000) "Snowman"
Internet Explorer 11 Links Not Working
How can I determine if I am running the 64-bit version. [EricLaw] Read the IE10 post linked at the top of this one. I found a few places in the registry where the default IE is identified by its path and they need to be changed. By default, NWBC attempts to open OVC in 32-bit IE, since it is the default browser. we tried several different ways to copy and replace the file but system wouldn't allow us to. (myself and the tech).
There is no JIT compiler for 64bit IE. I received the links in my e-mail, but only the x86 version has been sucessfully downloaded. This does not happen with IE 64 bit, but as noted many times 32 bit is the default and I frequently have to use 32 bit. Thanks in advance! I did the screen print and saved it as a gif but not sure how to post it here. The locations can also be updated manually if you don’t want to create the registry file. and there program would only look at reinstalling the 64bit browser.
